What this policy covers

This policy explains how Quran Audiobooks handles information when you browse the public library, open external listening or download sources, or use the optional Learn area for saved listening progress, bookmarks, and private notes.

Public library browsing

You can browse the main Quran Audiobooks library without creating an account. Public pages provide Quran audio listings, reading sources, embedded players, and links to trusted external platforms such as Internet Archive and pCloud.

External source links open services that are not operated by Quran Audiobooks. Those services may have their own privacy practices, cookies, download logs, or account systems.

Optional Learn sign-in

The Learn area is designed for long-form Quran audio study. If you choose to sign in with Google, we may store the basic account details needed to identify your Learn profile, such as your Google account subject identifier, email address, display name, and profile image if Google provides it.

We may also store your Learn activity, including saved listening position, completion status, bookmarks, private notes, and timestamps. This information is used only to provide your learning experience across devices.

How information is used

• To let you resume long audio where you stopped.
• To save and sync bookmarks and private notes in the Learn area.
• To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
• To maintain and improve the reliability of the community library.

We do not sell learner information. We do not use Learn notes, bookmarks, or listening progress for advertising profiles.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use browser storage to remember local listening progress, bookmarks, notes, or interface state. When Google sign-in is enabled, Google may use cookies or similar browser technologies to complete authentication. External audio and download platforms may also use their own cookies.

Where information is stored

The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Learn account and progress data may be stored in a Cloudflare D1 database after Google sign-in is enabled. Local-first Learn features may also save data inside your own browser until cloud sync is active.

Your choices

• You can use the public Quran Audiobooks library without signing in.
• You can avoid cloud-synced Learn features by not using Google sign-in.
• You can clear browser storage from your own device to remove local-only Learn data.
• You can ask us to review or delete cloud-synced Learn account data through the public social links in the footer.

Children and family use

Quran Audiobooks is intended as a general community resource for listening and learning. Children should use account-based Learn features with the guidance and permission of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Learn area develops or as the site changes. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
